Hi, I’m Cliona, and I run a creative visual art studio.  I have a love affair with colour, glitter, neon, shimmer and texture. I studied art and design in NCAD, specialised in textiles and live with my family in Dublin.  When I’m not in the studio I’m raising my daughter and son, and possibly redecorating our house.

The reason why I make art is because first and foremost it makes me happy.   I explore mark making, shape and balance in an abstract style, with my work evolving as I go.  My aim is for the viewer to reflect on their own personal experiences and find aesthetic joy amid the brushstrokes.

A few things about me: I love being creative! I’m terrible at getting up early, but I hate being late. I love being organised, but seem to make a large mess quickly and easily.  I’m a positive person who finds joy in nature.
